There are many adventure parks in the region. Most have a comprehensive selection of swings, ropes, nets and slides to encompass. A grading system similar to the colour coding for ski runs is used and children are restricted to the colour according to their height, age and ability. Great fun for the whole family.

The Little Yellow Train
This quaint yellow mountain train travels from Villefranche at the foothills of the Pyrenees mountains to Mont Louis.
It climbs a route that takes in some great scenery and crosses over two remarkable bridges, the Séjourné viaduct and the Gisclard suspension bridge, which allow the train to make light work of the 44-mile climb.Information: SNCF

The Minervois Tourist Railcar
Run and driven by volunteers, this historic train dates back to the 1950s. It is undoubtedly the best way to discover the beauty of South Minervois.
The train sets off from Narbonne and on route takes in many interesting sites. This includes a bridge built by Gustave Eiffel, the unique archaeological site of Sallèles- d’Aude, the Gallo-Roman potters’ village of Amphoralis, Cabezac, where you can visit the only oil cellar in the Aude and Oulibo, where the delicious lucque olive is grown.
